Internship Committee

Duties:

1. To provide opinions to the Department Academic Board on matters related to student internships.

2. To carry out preliminary preparations related to internships and inform students.

3. To check the suitability of locations where students plan to undertake internships.

4. To monitor internships to ensure they are conducted in line with their intended purpose.

5. To review internship notebooks and related documents and evaluate the internship.

6. To coordinate Erasmus/Farabi internship mobility activities with the Department Erasmus/Farabi Coordinator in accordance with the relevant mobility regulations.

7. To conduct preliminary evaluations for students participating in funded international internships (incoming or outgoing).

8. To explain, with supporting evidence, how students gain the knowledge and experience to apply previously acquired knowledge and skills, meet relevant field qualifications, and address realistic conditions/constraints (such as economics, environmental issues, sustainability, manufacturability, ethics, health, safety, social and political issues).

9. If field application experience is covered by certain elective courses, to explain how it is ensured that all students acquire this experience.

10. To complete the relevant sections of the self-assessment report related to these matters.
