Exemption and Adaptation Committee

Duties:

1. To establish and implement application principles related to horizontal/vertical transfers and summer school.

2. To arrange class placements (adaptations) and course exemptions for students transferring between institutions or within the same institution, as well as for students pursuing double major programs, and to establish standard norms for these processes.

3. To determine the equivalence of courses from other higher education institutions to those in our department and to convert the grades of those whose adaptations are approved.

4. To review the adaptation files of students who have transferred (horizontally or vertically), archive the results electronically, and present them to the relevant parties.

5. To determine adaptation criteria for students returning under amnesty provisions in line with Senate decisions, archive the results electronically, and present them to the relevant parties.

6. To submit an “Annual Activity Report” to the Department Chair at the end of the Spring Semester regarding all activities carried out.

7. To complete the relevant sections of the self-assessment report related to these matters.
