Educational Objectives

 

  1. To train scientists who respect universal and societal values, contribute to the scientific advancement of our country, engage in research and production, and uphold ethical and professional responsibilities.

  2. To educate individuals who have acquired both practical and theoretical knowledge in the major subfields active in the undergraduate biology program (Botany, Ecology, General Biology, Hydrobiology, Molecular Biology, and Zoology), who can relate this knowledge to other scientific disciplines, and who can express it effectively in both oral and written form.

  3. To train individuals who have understood and can apply the scientific approach and the steps of the scientific method in order to conduct research in fields related to biology.

  4. To educate individuals who can use the software, technological tools, and equipment required in the field of biology and apply these technologies in different fields.

  5. To train individuals who, by prioritizing the development of scientific projects, can conduct studies at national and international levels and transform the resulting knowledge into scientific output.

  6. To educate individuals who can apply their theoretical and practical knowledge of biology to meet the needs of the institutions in which they work (education, health, industry, etc.).

  7. To train researchers who are open to progress, can collaborate with different scientific disciplines, and embrace teamwork.

  8. To train individuals and prospective academics who have adopted lifelong learning as a principle.
