Duties:

  1. To promote the department and manage its relations with the press.

  2. To manage the department’s website, and its official Facebook and Twitter accounts.

  3. To ensure that events organized by the department—such as concerts, plays, talks, conferences, panels, exhibitions, symposia, graduation ceremonies, scientific excursions, and festivals—are announced on the department’s online platforms.

  4. To publicize departmental activities to the public via online media, using prepared press releases and photographs.

  5. To monitor news about the department in the press, identify inaccuracies, and ensure necessary corrections and accurate information by contacting the relevant parties.

  6. To prepare invitations and posters for unit events, and distribute them according to protocol and across university campuses.

  7. To follow unit events, take photographs and video recordings, announce them on the department’s website, and archive them digitally.

  8. To announce news, notices, and events via the department’s website.

  9. To create a web group for communication with alumni and current students.

  10. To ensure that the department’s quality and accreditation policy is published on the department website.

  11. To provide information and announce updates regarding the databases of the Library and Documentation Department.

  12. To complete the relevant sections of the self-assessment report related to these matters.
